Printed Proenza

Finding a great piece of clothing, in your size, on sale, is really mostly luck and chance....

...but boy does it feel good when you strike gold.

This is actually a sweater worn over a printed dress. The dress is Proenza Schouler, found on the clearance dress rack at Nordstrom Rack, and marked down significantly from its retail price. I always wonder how these pieces end up there - how did no one else buy it before I arrived when I did? 

The quality is amazing. It is a very lightweight silk, yet doesn't feel flimsy. The colors are vibrant and it looks like it was meant to have this print, like they just found the fabric that way. I paired it with a soft, $5 sweater found at Goodwill, and away I sashayed.  

This blue-ish wall really made the colors pop.
