Dress | Self-Portrait Shoes | Manolo Blahnik |
Today I present Part-the-Second of my photo shoot, featuring partner-in-crime Cait. In addition to being fashionable, she is also an adventurer, and is embarking on an epic bicycle trip soon. She is starting her own blog where you can follow along on the journey and I will follow up with a link when it launches. In the meantime, let's all appreciate her Self-Portrait dress (which just for the record is lined from the top to the mid-thigh) and Manolo Blahnik heels.
Having a nearby friend who is also into clothes and fashion is a game-changer. Which isn't to say we have the same taste, and I think it is even more fun that way (although the morning of the photo shoot we both showed up in knee-length navy skirts and cotton t-shirts so maybe we rubbing off on each other). She is someone I can debate the merits of a high-waisted pencil skirt with (pro, but not to bike), or say, "I'm looking for a formal jumpsuit" and she knows exactly what I mean and will have helpful input.
I really love this dress and was so happy when she decided to wear it for this. It is such a show-stopper. Below is her second look, where she dressed it down in a fun way, by swapping out stilettos for a Prada platform flat, and adding a t-shirt.
This one is probably the magazine cover, non?
Thanks for stopping by!
