This photo is kind of crazy - there is no filter, but the sun was shining directly into the camera, and it ended up sun-streaked. It does, however, capture the feeling in the air the day I took it.

I saw this skirt several times before I actually bought it. I finally couldn't resist when I found it on clearance at a Nordstrom Rack - I love the fun pattern. 

As it has quite a few colors and the busier pattern, I normally wear it with a plain white or black top, but today I realized chambray is exactly what this skirt needed. 

I grabbed a straw hat and had the makings of a pretty ideal summer outfit.
