Sometimes, you have to push yourself out of your comfort zone. For me, although I've gotten comfortable with printed dresses, printed pants are another story entirely. Typically, I am all about jeans, or work pants in black or navy (I know - wild). I saw these at a consignment store, took a chance, and ended up digging the pattern.

Even though the pants are navy and gold, I think the black sweater worked because it did not draw any focus from the pants. I'm not sure what other colors will work (maybe teal would be cool...) but I'm sure I'll figure it out. I wore these pants with wedges to give a little height, and I think they would also look awesome with a bright, printed heel, maybe in like a coral color?
