Sweater | Uniqlo x Lemaire Top | No brand tag Jeans | DL1961 Shoes | Cole Haan |
The weather around here has been a little chilly lately, which is bit of a bummer. It means a windy walk to work and then an even colder office (why can't we tone-down the office A/C, why?!), so I've had to dig some of my sweater and jackets out of the back of the closet. What is an even bigger bummer is a recent crush of work, and thus the more infrequent posts.
The first look features my trusty Uniqlo x Lemaire sweater (read more about it here) layered over a breton stripe top. I like that while these two items aren't the same length, they both have a similar loose shape that floats away from the body. To play this up even more, I paired them with skinny jeans. (I also paired them with skinny jeans because that represents 90% of the jeans that I own).
The jewelry is a matching vintage malachite pin and ring, which always make me feel good, due to their sentimental importance to me, and their just general bad-ass-ness.
This second look is mostly all about this jacket. It is a great Theory jacket that I bought from a consignment store in New York, and was my very first New York consignment purchase, when I lived there. It is from the now closed (and slightly infamous) 2nd Time Around, which apparently unexpectly, and quickly shuttered, much to the disappointment of some consignors who hadn't received their money yet. In happier times, I stumbled in there during a summer sale and walked out with this jacket.

May all of your, and my, consignments, be less dramatic. Thank you for stopping by.
